Sally Corney creatively utilised a newly built house at Portishead Quays to make a temporary installation exploring our modern relationship with the concept of ‘home’, belongings and a sense of belonging.
My work is informed by themes of home or homeland. Exploring the relationships we have with our interior and exterior landscapes and the effects of our environment on our lives and aspirations.
I choose to work in fields that introduce and encourage participation in the visual arts and their practice, involving children and adults, raising awareness of local issues and places.
