Artist's Statement – relating to Portishead Quays artwork: Man and Animal

The sculpture I have made for Portishead is an intimate view of the relationship between man and his environment. The animal represents the vulnerability of nature that is under the control of man, in this situation both figures relate in harmony and are communing as one.
